Milestone Moment: Helge Hille defends his PhD
We warmly congratulate Helge Hille on the successful defense of his PhD thesis titled “Floating Isogeometric Analysis” on April 30, 2025.
The thesis proposes an Isogeometric Analysis method optimized for mechanics problems with extreme but oriented deformations. Its efficacy has been shown in several benchmarks and the application to extrusion-based additive manufacturing of polymers.
